If for some reason you need to reinstall Windows 10 on your Surface Book or Surface Pro 4, it can be a pain to sit back and wait for Windows Update to download and install firmware or driver updates. Sure there are methods to make refreshing your computer easier (like a complete system image backup), but some of us like to do things the old fashioned (and sometimes a bit more complicated) way.
Microsoft has released all the current software, firmware, and drivers for both the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. This package contains cumulative and current firmware and drivers that have been released via Windows Update, making it easier for you to update your Surface Book or Surface Pro 4 after a reinstall of Windows 10.
Microsoft recently released a firmware update for the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 via Windows Update, addressing screen flickering issues, as well as improving system stability. This firmware update is included in the package.
The package also contains a WinTab driver for those professionals needing WinTab compatibility with certain Surface Pen enabled applications. You can download the package for the Surface Book and the Surface Pro 4.
