The highly anticipated Instagram app for Windows Phone 8 finally rolled out to the masses in November of last year. Today, we are treated to an update to the app, adding quite a bit of improvement. Unfortunately, the app still contains the “Beta” tag.
“Over 150 million users love Instagram! It’s a simple way to capture and share the world’s moments on your Windows Phone. Customize your photos with one of several gorgeous and custom built filter effects. Transform everyday moments into works of art you’ll want to share with friends and family. Share your photos in a simple photo stream with friends to see – and follow your friends’ photos with the click of a single button. Every day you open up Instagram, you’ll see new photos from your closest friends, and creative people from around the world,” the app description reads.
In this latest update, which bumps the version number to 0.3.0.0, we are treated to performance improvements, crash fixes, and UX refinements. No other details were given about the update. If you are running Instagram Beta on your Windows Phone device, now is the time to update.
