Jeff Sandquist, who spent 16 years at Microsoft as a Director of Developer Product Management before leaving for Twitter, where he spent a year and a half before coming back to Redmond, is leaving the company once again. In a short post to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, Sandquist made the announcement this morning:

Change invigorates the soul! After 8 years at Microsoft, I am off to my next adventure.

😀 Feeling grateful and proud. Mostly grateful.
🚪 I’m here a few more weeks helping close out.
🚜 Then? A break on the farm, before deciding on what’s next.

Thank you, thank you! 👋 pic.twitter.com/6d0oVC3E9A

Sandquist has been a popular and public presence on social media, known well beyond his relations with developers, and we were happy to see him come back to Microsoft after that short stint at Twitter. We’re wishing all the best for Jeff on the farm, and with whatever he does next.
