Cortana Coming To Windows Phone Users In The UK Soon – onmsft.com

Cortana

Cortana, Microsoft’s personal assistant, is one of the most interesting features in the Windows Phone 8.1 OS. At the launch event, the Redmond giant said that Cortana will hit the US at launch, followed by other countries across the globe. Users running the developer preview of the update are making use of the feature, even those who are not in the US through a region setting tweak.

If you’re residing in the UK, you’ll be glad to know that Cortana will soon make its way to Windows Phone devices in the UK. There’s no specific date, but Windows Phone UK posted a teaser image of Cortana, captioned, “Soon.” We don’t know how soon it would be, but if we were to assume, we’d say it will come with the official Windows Phone 8.1 update.

Nonetheless, it should come as good news for those residing in the UK. Microsoft did mention that it will be rolled out in other regions later this year, starting with the UK and China.
