Chuwi To Launch A Premium 14.1-inch Laptop – LapBook Air – Soon – OnMSFT.com

We’ve learnt that Chuwi will soon introduce a new product – LapBook Air. The company’s thinnest Windows 10 laptop as yet will sport a 14.1-inch display and is clearly inspired from MacBook Air.

The Chinese OEM has launched several Windows 10 laptops, tablets, and 2-in-1s in the recent past and has been gaining a good foothold outside of China slowly, but surely. The products too are getting more refined now.

The all-metal design of LapBook Air has a matte finish, and the thinnest edge is only 6mm thick. The laptop weighs only 1.3 kgs and boasts of a backlit keyboard.

There are no details of the specifications at the moment though. There’s a 14.1 LCD panel with full lamination, and that’s all we know. I’d hope Chuwi doesn’t just go with an Intel Atom or Celeron processor this time around and at least pack in a Intel Core M3 processor to pack in enough muscle for a broad set of users.

So, that’s the Chuwi LapBook Air. We’ll of course keep you updated when we get more details.
