Are you looking for some new apps or games to play with on your Windows 8.1 device? Check out these two apps that are sure to keep you entertained for a few hours.

Hill Climb Racing is an addictive and entertaining physics based driving game for Windows 8.1. The game is free and works on both Windows 8.1 and Windows RT. This game is simple and requires you to hit the gas pedal to move forward and use the brake pedal to slow down or move backwards. You have to maintain a balance into order to advance through the game. Its a lot more challenging than it seems!

\

Hill Climb Racing is also one of the top five free apps in the Windows Store for this week, so why not check it out?

\

“Meet Newton Bill, the young aspiring uphill racer. He is about to embark on a journey that takes him to where no ride has ever been before. With little respect to the laws of physics, Newton Bill will not rest until he has conquered the highest hills up on the moon! Face the challenges of unique hill climbing environments with many different cars. Gain bonuses from daring tricks and collect coins to upgrade your car and reach even higher distances. Watch out though – Bill’s stout neck is not what it used to be when he was a kid! And his good ol’ gasoline crematorium will easily run out of fuel,” the app description reads.

\

Six Guns is another free app for Windows 8.1 and Windows RT. This game has over forty missions and features decent graphics for a shooter game. You can explore the massive Wild West landscape, race horses, stop robbers, shoot targets, fight bandits, and much more in this cool game from Gameloft. Overall, an entertaining app that will surely keep you busy for a little while.

“Explore a truly enormous and open Wild West frontier full of cowboys, bandits and more… unnatural enemies in this third-person-shooter adventure game. Take on 40 missions with a great variety of tasks for you to overcome. You’ll race horses, take out robbers, fend off waves of enemies and more along the way!” the app description reads.
