Chase Mobile app for Windows Phone to be removed from the Store because ‘few customers use it’

Chase Mobile app for Windows Phone to be removed from the Store on January 26th for unknown reasons

Update: A Chase spokesperson reached out to WinBeta and had this to say about the app’s removal: “We are focusing our support on the products our customers use the most. Starting March 22, 2015, we will no longer support the Chase Mobile App for Windows devices, which few customers use. Those customers can still access chase.com through their mobile browser.”

Chase is one of the largest banks in the United States and the company has had an app on Windows Phone for quite some time now. Today, a new message on the Chase website indicates that the Chase mobile app for Windows Phone will be removed from the Windows Phone Store on January 26th.

Apparently, Chase feels that having a mobile app for Windows Phone is pointless. According to a Chase spokesperson, the banking giant is focused on products that customers use the most and Windows Phone is not one of them. “We will no longer support the Chase Mobile App for Windows devices, which few customers use.”

The Chase Mobile app was last updated in August and features an average rating of 4 stars (out of 5). Do you bank with Chase? How do you feel about the removal of the app?
