Buy a Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 right now and get $50 off a Touch or Type Cover

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 was recently unveiled and has yet to ship to those who placed a pre-order, but let’s not forget about the previous generation Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 devices. Microsoft Store is offering a deal, which expires in just a few days.

Head over to your local retail or online Microsoft Store and purchase a brand new Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 device. Microsoft will offer you $50 off a Surface Type or Touch Cover to go along with your new device.

Unless you plan on waiting for the Surface Pro 3, you can snag the second-generation Surface devices for a decent price. The Surface 2 starts at $449.00, while the Surface Pro 2 starts at $899. Interestingly enough, the entry level Surface Pro 2 costs $100 more than the entry level Surface Pro 3.

The Type Cover 2 is backlit so you can work in any lighting conditions, super-thin, and lightweight in design. It normally runs for $129.99. The Touch Cover 2 is also lightweight and backlit, and runs for $119. You can shave off $50 from these prices from now until Saturday, June 7th.

This offer is not valid on the Surface Power Cover and colors vary by store.
