The Red Magic 11 Golden Saga Edition pushes mobile gaming further by running Windows PC games directly on Android through emulation, and the results already show how far smartphone hardware has come.
The device uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with 24GB RAM, and it handles demanding titles locally through GameHub without relying on cloud streaming or external hardware.
ETA Prime demonstrated this setup in a recent video, where the phone runs multiple PC games at playable frame rates using high performance modes.

Red Dead Redemption 2 stays in the high 40 FPS range with some indoor scenes hitting 60 FPS, while GTA V reaches up to 100 FPS indoors and holds stable performance while driving. Cyberpunk 2077 also runs above 60 FPS at 720p with frame generation enabled, which shows how far emulation has improved on mobile hardware.
Hardware and performance limits
The Golden Saga Edition builds on the standard model with 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage, a gold-plated vapor chamber, active cooling fan, and a 7,500 mAh battery, which helps manage the heavy load from emulating PC games. Even with this setup, higher modes like Diablo push power usage to 30W or more, which turns the phone into something closer to a gaming handheld.
At the same time, not every game runs perfectly, since some titles show rendering issues or lack proper support for features like frame generation, which highlights the current limits of Android PC emulation despite strong raw performance.
