Intel has confirmed that CEO Lip-Bu Tan will deliver a keynote at Computex 2026 on June 2 in Taipei, where he plans to outline the company’s direction in artificial intelligence and next-generation computing. While Qualcomm takes the opening keynote slot on June 1, Intel’s session still carries weight as the company looks to reinforce its position in a fast-moving AI market.
TAITRA says Tan will focus on silicon, systems, software, and ecosystem partnerships, along with opportunities for developers and businesses. The announcement avoids any mention of consumer products, which suggests Intel will keep the keynote centered on long-term strategy rather than immediate launches.
Intel recently introduced Core Ultra Series 3, also known as Panther Lake, leaving a gap in its consumer roadmap ahead of Computex. Nova Lake sits as the next major step for high-end desktops, so an early preview remains possible, even if Intel has not confirmed it. With AMD expected to highlight Zen 6, Intel has reason to share at least a glimpse of what comes next.
