Microsoft’s cross-platform development marches on as its Office Lens app for iOS receives another feature-filled updated today.
New for iOS users, Office Lens version 1.3 now includes scanning and inserting of multiple pages at a time with the app as well as enabling rotation of the scanned images. Prior to today’s update, iOS users were required to retake an image if they wanted to capture it from a different angle–not anymore, users can now just rotate the image from within the image editor.
Office Lens users on an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus can now take advantage of the app with added 3D touch options with Change Modes. 3D touch options now include quick access to Business Cards, Photo, Whiteboard and Document settings from the app icon.
- Multi-scanning

- Rotation

- 3D touch
You can select modes by pressing and holding the Office Lens icon on the screen. This works on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
- Handwritten text OCR
Scan handwritten text in English and export it to OneNote, where you can search for it like normal text.
- Bug fix
Users who have the same Office 365 and Microsoft account can use Office Lens with both accounts.
The new update is now live in the App Store.
