Warner Bros. Games has moved up the release date for Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, giving players a chance to jump into the new adventure earlier than expected. The action adventure title will now launch on May 22, one week earlier than the previously announced May 29 date. The game will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Steam, and Epic Games Store, while a Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow later this year.
According to Warner Bros. Games, the updated schedule shortens the wait for fans who have followed Batman games and Lego adaptations for years. The developer TT Games leads the project and brings experience from earlier Lego titles.
Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition can start playing three days before launch, while all pre order customers receive The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit at release.
TT Games previously developed Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which combined stories from multiple films into one game. This time the studio draws from decades of Batman history, creating a larger Lego Gotham adventure.
