In March, Microsoft launched the Microsoft Loop app in public preview. An application that the company describes as “a transformative co-creation experience that brings together teams, content, and tasks across your tools and devices.”

What’s more, the app also ships with AI capabilities with the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot.  to enhance its usability. With this in place, users will be able to collaborate on projects in real-time. A similar experience to the one on the Components of the Loop app which has also been available in preview.

Up until recently, the Microsoft Loop app only supported work and school accounts on mobile. However, Microsoft has recently expanded its availability to personal accounts, that is, both on Android and iOS.

big news… Loop iOS and Android apps are now ready for personal accounts! 🥳

we're still limited on spots for iOS, so grab one while you can 👇🏼

Android users can head to Google Play Store and download the app to test out the newly added support for personal accounts on the app. As for iOS users, the application is limited to select users who must also be part of Apple’s TestFlight program.

With that, it’s worth noting that the application is still a work in progress meaning that it’s possible for one to encounter issues while trying out the new experience. Microsoft often uses this approach as a way of gathering feedback and suggestions from users.

Do you use the Microsoft Loop app to collaborate? What’s your experience so far? Let us know in the comments.
