Microsoft Loop rolls out in private preview

In 2021, Microsoft announced Microsoft Loop, a new collaborative canvas allowing teams to collaborate across Microsoft 365 apps. The app is designed to let users leverage Microsoft’s own Fluid Framework thus allowing you to manage various Loop snips.

Things have been relatively quiet on that front since then, though last year in August, the experience’s homepage and signup page leaked. However, at the time, the signup page didn’t work rendering it impossible to try out the new Loop app. It indicated that the public preview hadn’t started.

As it happens, the company is finally ready to let users try out Microsoft Loop but in private preview. Over the weekend, Microsoft Loop’s Project Manager, Rebecca Keys took to her Twitter account to make the announcement and indicated that “private preview invites just got delivered to a bunch of people on our waitlist.”

Petri Jämsen, who’s part of the Microsoft Education team also reiterated Rebecca’s announcement and Tweeted out a photo confirming that Loop private preview invites are being sent out.

Microsoft Loop already has a Twitter account but it is private with the following tagline in the bio:

Think, Plan and Create — Together

We invite you to check out our previous post that highlights all the features that ship with this nifty tool, Microsoft provides an overview of Microsoft Loop.
