Boggle comes to Xbox One in new digital version

There have been some great traditional-style party games released for the Xbox One recently. Hasbro launched their numerous Monopoly games on the console earlier this year and Jackbox’s numerous video games from You Don’t Know Jack to the new Quiplash are always good for a laugh.

One more party game gets added to the mix today with the launch of the Xbox One version of Boggle, the classic word game from yesteryear. This new digital version of Boggle appears very similar to the physical version but has some added functionality that comes with the platform. Users can play with up to 3 other players online, compete on leaderboards and even participate in daily challenges. There’s also Uplay integration for those die-hard Ubisoft fans and a connection to the Hasbro Game Channel for some extra functionality and digital rewards.

Do you ever play basic party games like this on your Xbox One or do you prefer the old school physical versions? Let us know in the comments below.
