For the fourth time in less than two weeks the Xbox One Backward Compatible list has grown again. Major Nelson announced on Twitter this morning that the Backwards Compatible list is gaining three more Xbox 360 games.

Today’s additions include Halo Wars, Soul Calibur II HD, and The King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match. Halo Wars is the popular Real Time Strategy game where you act as the commander of the armies in Halo universe instead of gun slinging as the Master Chief for a change. Soul Calibur II HD Online is another popular port of a classic fighting game which is now making its way to the Xbox One via the back compat list.
The last title added this week is another fighting game, but an even older one, The King of Fighter’s 98. Kings of Fighter’s 98 originally debuted in arcades in 1998, followed by releasing on Neo Geo, PlayStation, and Dreamcast in the years to follow.
These additions come on the heels of other titles added to the list, such as Dark Souls, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Assassin’s Creed, and more. It is great to see the back compat list is frequently being updated, especially since there are still 100s of more great games that could potentially be made available on the Xbox One.
