Microsoft has launched a holiday promotion to attract new users to its search engine (and thank existing ones, of course). The company is giving away half a million music tracks free of charge as part of its Bing Holiday Song Giveaway.
“As the year comes to an end, we want to thank everyone for their support — with a song. No, we’re not serenading you (yet) — it’s a free song download,” the Bing team said on its blog yesterday.
