Battle your way through a dungeon fortress in Ziggurat, now available on Xbox One onmsft.com March 20, 2015

I don’t usually play Xbox One games that involve wizardry and the like. Medieval times are just a period of time that doesn’t interest me very much. However, I do enjoy a good FPS shooter and Ziggurat does seem to satisfy my curiosity in that regard, so I decided to give it a try.

In Ziggurat, you are a sorcerer that must battle his way through a dungeon fortress consisting of many floors. The only way to proceed from floor to floor is to locate a special portal key that unlocks an entrance to the next floor. It seems like a simple enough concept, however, you must deal with waves of supernatural enemies, environmental threats, and incredibly difficult bosses.

Ziggurat isn’t the type of game that is for everyone, but if sounds like something you’d like, you will really enjoy it. Ziggurat combines dungeon exploring with the feeling of a FPS which I think makes the game pretty great. If you are still on the fence about it, check out the gameplay video below. Ziggurat is available now on Xbox One for $14.99, get it now in the download link below
