Xbox One vs PS4: Sony welcomes the Xbox One to the Netherlands with a very friendly tweet

The battle between Microsoft’s Xbox One console and Sony’s PS4 continues on, and just recently, Microsoft revealed that they would be launching the Xbox One in 28 new countries. One of those countries is the Netherlands and Sony has taken it to Twitter to welcome the Xbox One in the country in a rather friendly manner.

September is set to be a huge month for the Xbox One, as the entertainment and gaming console is set to launch in 28 new markets throughout the month. These new locations include Japan, India, China, Russia, Korea, and more. On Friday, September 5th, the Xbox One was launched in the Netherlands.

In what’s considered a strong display of sportsmanship, Sony took it to Twitter to welcome the Xbox One to the Netherlands in a tweet that said, “Congratulations on the launch of the Xbox One in the Netherlands @Xbox_NL!” Good play Sony! You can see the original tweet below.

The Xbox One was launched in November of 2013 across North America, several European markets, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Now, gamers in 28 new markets can enjoy Microsoft’s entertainment console. Israel, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, China, and Russia are all set to receive the Xbox One before this month ends.

Thanks for the tip, Markus!
