Microsoft has rolled out two updates for two of the company’s popular apps for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Xbox Music and Xbox Video both received some new features thanks to this update. If you have a Music subscription, head over to the Windows Store and update your app now!
According to the Windows Store change log, the Xbox Music app update now allows users to access their playing list of tracks directly from the left-hand navigation pane. Music app now has a new snapped mode, thanks to this update. This makes multi-tasking while listening to music so much easier. Microsoft has also made the app much more responsive and faster.
The Xbox Video app, on the other hand, now features an updated Live tile and performance improvements. Microsoft has also addressed additional minor fixes, but did not specify exactly what was fixed or improved.
Microsoft recently launched Xbox Music for iOS and Android. Microsoft is also adding free web playback support as well as a new feature for the app on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, a feature that is expected soon.
