ASUS Transformer Book Flip

Computex 2014 has kicked off in full force, and we’ve already seen a bunch of new devices making their way to the retail shelves. Recently, Asus announced a new Transformer Book Flip, a laptop which comes with a 360 degrees rotatable screen, so that it can even be used as a tablet too. The Transformer Book Flip comes with various screen sizes — 13.3, 14, and 15.6-inches — boasting a Full HD 1920×1080 pixels resolution to offer bright and sharper display.

“ASUS Transformer Book Flip was announced today, a stylish, innovative and affordable Windows 8.1 laptop with a remarkable hinge design that enables the screen to be set at any angle between zero and 360 degrees. Flip is incredibly versatile, and can be used as a powerful laptop, a responsive tablet, or anything in between,” says ASUS in a press release.

The devices comes with Intel Core up to i7 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce GT840M Graphics with 2GB of video memory for a seamless performance and multitasking, and is even capable of handling latest games as well. The laptop offers up to 8GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive storage, and runs Windows 8/8.1 as its operating system.

As far as the availability is concerned, the device will hit retail by the end of June. There’s no word about the pricing from ASUS, but the folks at TechRadar reports that it will cost between £449 to £699 in the UK.
