Registration for Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) is now open. Originally announced in Shenzhen in March, the WinHEC Summit is an important venture for Microsoft. The last WinHEC occurred in 2008 and it will be great to see what comes out of the WinHEC Summit in Shenzhen. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft connects with and learns from the various OEMs, ODMs, and other partners throughout the Asian community to see how different groups work together to make Windows devices as great as they have become in the last few years.
Microsoft Executive Vice President of the Operating Systems Group, Terry Myerson will be doing the keynote address on March 18th. WinHEC Shenzhen is a summit designed for executives, engineering managers, engineers, and technical product managers at OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, and IDHs who work with or want to work with Windows software and technologies.
Most of the agenda for the summit will focus on hands-on training and technical training sessions using a multitude of Windows hardware and software. From Windows PCs, tablets, and smartphones, attendees will have a good look on what Microsoft has been working on through the past few years. There will also be an opportunity to speak directly with Microsoft engineers and experts to get more insight on what Microsoft continues to work on to expand and grow its technology in ever-expanding new ways.
