Hot off the heels of a jammed packed Fast Ring update cycle last week, General Manager of OSG Data and Fundamentals, Gabe Aul, is announcing a push to Insiders on the Slow Ring update cycle.
As of ten minutes ago, Gabe announced that the Windows team is confident enough in PC build 10162, to begin pushing it to Slow Ring Insiders. Typically, Slow Ring flights go through a more rigorous testing cycle than Fast Ring builds. However, build 101062 appears to be as bug free enough for the Windows team’s approval. As many Fast Ring Insiders may attest to, build 10162 is a reliable candidate that ultimately shows how refined Windows 10 has become.

As far as notes about build 10162 for Slow Ring Insiders are concerned, Gabe is directing users to the same Windows Blog published for Fast Ring Insiders. There are rumors that the Windows team is gearing up to push a final Windows 10 RTM candidate to partners in the coming week or so.
Perhaps, Slow Ring build 10162 maybe the last build Insiders see for a few weeks.
