Windows 10 Mobile build 10127 demoed on video, features new Settings app and more

It’s rather obvious by now that the Window 10 Mobile Insider Preview is far behind the PC version in terms of performance and stability, and Microsoft hasn’t been pushing out new Mobile previews nearly as fast as it does on PCs, despite also offering a Fast ring. We also know that Windows 10 Mobile will not launch alongside Windows 10 for PCs so the delay in progression shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.

\

The good news is that Microsoft is still working on Windows 10 Mobile, behind the scenes at least, as is evident by a recent video noticed by WMPoweruser demoing Windows 10 Mobile build 10127. New features in this build include a revamped Settings app, which is basically the same Settings app found on Windows 10 for PCs. There’s also a new Maps app, which now supports printing maps, and a new Camera app, that lets you adjust focus, white balance, and brightness while recording video. Check out the video (hosted by Windows Central) below to see the new features for yourself.

Microsoft’s Gabe Aul also revealed earlier today that Windows 10 Mobile build 10134 is currently in the company’s internal ring, but it has an upgrade bug that will prevent it from making it to Insiders. Future Mobile builds should be a lot more stable than the current build 10080 and should bring along some of the same UI refinements seen in the latest Insider build for PCs.

Let us know what you think of build 10127 for mobile in the comments below, and as usual, stay tuned to WinBeta for more on Windows 10.
