Announced at the Windows 10 Mobile event in October, the Lumia 550 is now available for sale in the US through B&H for $149. The handset can be purchased in both black and white color options with next day shipping.
Microsoft Lumia 550 is targeted towards the entry-level segment of the market so don’t expect high-end or even mid-range specifications from the handset — there’s Lumia 950 or the 950 XL if you want a top-notch Windows 10 Mobile device.
The device features a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels with Snapdragon 210 under the hood for processing. Other features include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, 5MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera and comes with Windows 10 Mobile as its operating system.
It’s not the best Windows Phone handset, but can be a good alternative (check out our review of the Lumia 550) if you want to try out Microsoft’s new operating system, or want a spare smartphone.
