Windows 10 build 10031 screenshots leak with transparent Start Menu

Windows 10

Windows 10 build 10031 screenshots have leaked today revealing transparency in the Start Menu, something Microsoft has said is coming for a few weeks now. Judging by the screenshots, it appears transparency is only apparent in the Start Menu.

We expect transparency to begin showing up in other areas of the UI soon, but it’s great to finally see transparency begin showing up in some places. Hopefully an ‘aura’ effect will get added to it for maximum attractiveness.

Microsoft was expected to release a new Windows Insider build this week, however that doesn’t seem to have happened yet. Still, it’s Friday meaning today could be our lucky day. If not, then I guess we’ll have to wait and see until next week.
