Curious to see what the upcoming Cortana digital assistant will look like? The Verge has revealed that Cortana will feature a circular animated icon that replaces the built in Bing search functionality in Windows Phone 8.1. Nothing new was revealed, aside from the fact that Cortana can address you by your name or a nickname you set. Cortana can also animate when its speaking or thinking, forming a personality just like Apple’s Siri. The digital assistant will also save information and data in a Notebook system, allowing access to information such as location data, personal information, reminders, and contacts. Take a look at the two images below. Expect to hear more about Windows Phone 8.1 in April during the BUILD 2014 Developer Conference.
