This week’s Red Stripe Deals are in, which means that Windows users can grab a number of popular titles at discounted prices — at least 50 percent off their regular prices. This week, users can get their hands on Gro Garden, a game which give kids the ability to easily learn about organic gardening and how it happens, thanks to Connie the Compost and her friends the micro-organisms. Upon feeding the micro-organisms, they start producing nutritious soil that makes your crops grow faster and taste better. Later once they grow, you can harvest the vegetables and feed other animals residing in the cottage. The game usually costs $2.99 in the Windows Store, but for this week, users can grab it for $0.99.
Next up is the Reading Trainer. As the name of the app suggests, it can help you improve your reading speed and retention rate. There are 12 challenging yet fun exercises to play with and improve your reading skills. The app guides users through individual training steps, and also identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the reader. As you move on, you can also track your progress and see how much you’ve improved over time through the app. The app is now down to $1.99 from $3.99, a discount of 50 percent.
Another game discounted this week is 16bit Trader. As the name suggests, you think as a merchant where you’ve got to purchase your items at a cheap cost and sell them at a considerably higher price to make sure you get high profits. You move to different cities and villages to sell your merchandise, complete various quests and accumulate wealth as you move on with the game. The game is now available for $0.99 instead of $1.99.
Other games include

  • “Doodle Kingdom” (99 cents, usually $2.99)
  • “Fate of the Pharaoh Full” ($2.49, usually $5.99)
  • “The Phenomenon” ($1.49, usually $2.99)

If you find any of the above apps worth spending money on, head over to the Windows Store using the links below and get your hands on them. Also let us know if you’re already using any of the above-mentioned apps.
