Verizon Lumia 735 passes through the FCC

\

It’s been a while since Microsoft unveiled the selfie-focused Lumia 730 and 735. Lumia 735 is expected to launch on Verizon Wireless, but rumors suggest it will land on the Big Red in early 2015. Recently, the handset made an appearance at the FCC with support for Verizon’s LTE bands. Passing through the FCC means that Verizon can start selling the handset, but it may not happen. It’s not confirmed news since there’s a possibility things may change in the future.

\

Verizon customers don’t have much of a choice when it comes to Windows Phone devices at the moment, except the HTC One M8 for Windows as well as the Samsung Ativ SE. The carrier was selling the Lumia Icon, but it reached the end-of-life status.

\

As a quick recap, the handset features a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, and runs Windows Phone 8.1 Denim as its operating system. There’s 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, 5MP wide-angle front-facing camera, 6.7MP primary camera and a 2,200 mAh battery.
