Toshiba launches a business oriented Portégé R30 laptop

Earlier today, Toshiba added yet another laptop (the Portege R30) to its product portfolio, but this time, it’s focusing more on small and medium-sized businesses with this offering. The laptop is extremely portable, weighing only 3.2 pounds and is only one inch thin, allowing users to easily carry it around on the go.

To make sure there’s enough processing power, the laptop features a 4th generation Intel Mobile processor, up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, and up to a 1TB hybrid hard drive or 512GB solid state drive. There’s a fingerprint sensor to offer users with an extra layer of protection alongside three USB 3.0 ports, a full-size HDMI, media card reader, LAN port, and a built-in DVD drive.

Furthermore, the company is throwing in the Toshiba Quality Guarantee with the Portege R30 laptop, which means that if the LCD panel, hard drive, memory or system board fails within the first six months of ownership, the company will replace it with a new laptop. The laptop costs $829.99 and is available through Toshiba’s resellers and partners.
