During the Mobile World Congress today in Barcelona, Microsoft revealed that there are over 245,000 apps available in the Windows Phone Store. Although one can argue quality vs quantity when it comes to this figure, it doesnt change the fact that there are over 245,000 apps. Comparatively, the Windows Store has over 145,000 apps. Microsoft has some big things planned with the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update, and the company is looking to break past the distant third place position behind iOS and Android in the mobile market share.
