AMD driver update for Windows 10 build 10122 now available to fix stability issues – onmsft.com

AMD driver update for Windows 10 build 10122 now available to fix stability issues

When Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10122 launched, Microsoft warned that Insiders with AMD GPUs in their systems may face stability issues, and that the company was working closely with AMD to fix the problem.

Today, Microsoft’s Gabe Aul confirmed on Twitter that AMD has released new drivers that “should work great” on the latest Insider build. This driver should fix the stability issues that would cause the Microsoft Edge browser to abruptly crash, as can be seen in our hands-on video with the build.

The new drivers should be available now via Windows Update, so go check for updates! If it’s not there, then it is likely propagating, so try again later. Once downloaded and installed, do let us know in the comments section below if it fixes the stability issues.
