Telegram messenger beta for windows phone updated with smart notifications, captions for photos and more

Telegram Messenger for Windows Phone picked up an update, bumping it to version 1.10 and comes with a number of interesting features and bug fixes on board, including smart notifications, the ability to set advanced typing status such as sending photos, recording audio, etc.

Telegram is a messaging app with a focus on speed and security. It’s super-fast, simple, secure and free. Telegram seamlessly syncs across all of your devices and can be used on desktops, tablets and phones alike. You can send an unlimited amount of messages, photos, videos and files of any type (.doc, .zip, .pdf, etc.).

Here’s the complete change log for the latest update:

  • Invite links for group chats
  • Smart notifications
  • Captions for photos
  • Places and directions in locations
  • ‘Listened’ status for voice messages
  • Advanced ‘typing’ status: sending photo, recording audio, etc.

Head over to the Windows Phone store and grab the updated Telegram Messenger.
