T-mobile's usa twitter handle says lumia 640 will arrive on the carrier july 16th

T-Mobile has listed the Lumia 640 as “coming soon” for quite some time now, but the carrier has taken it to Twitter earlier today to reveal a launch date. “Hey, good news! It looks like that device is going to released via all channels on 7/16!” T-Mobile USA stated on Twitter earlier today.

Interestingly enough, Cricket Wireless received the Lumia 640 (read our review here) this past week, giving them at least 2 months of an edge over T-Mobile and making them the first US carrier of the device. As a quick recap, the budget-friendly offering comes with a 5-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, an 8MP camera and ships with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.
