Sway for iPhone updated

Microsoft Sway is an interactive presentation tool, which give users the ability to visualize their ideas and share them. Basically, it’s a a cloud-based solution which allows users to create presentations and access them from any platform, be it the web. The company has released updates, which increased the reach of the app to several regions, and more recently, Microsoft is now seeding a new update for Sway for iPhone, adding features based on user feedback.

Sway for iPhone updated, brings several new features and enhancements

The latest update introduced a handful of new features and enhancements to improve the overall user experience, and provide them with more tools to create interactive presentations. With the latest update, users can add videos to their presentations from the camera roll, as well as create groups and stacks of photos where you can group images and videos together — similar to what you could do with the web interface.

Furthermore, the software giant added the Office Lens technology to Sway for iPhone, which can help users automatically crop and straighten images using the app. If it doesn’t work out the way you want, users can also manually crop the image using their iPhone to focus on the area which is important for and remove unnecessary elements from the images.

Here’s a complete change log of the updated Sway for iPhone v1.2:

  • Add video from your phone’s camera roll
  • Create groups and stacks of photos
  • Add bullets and numbering to text
  • Create and apply a hyperlink to text
  • Emphasize words or sentences
  • Crop images
  • Pictures of documents can be straightened and cropped automatically
  • Performance improvements, especially when network quality is poor

If you happen to be a regular user of Sway on your iPhone, head over to the App Store and grab the app to make use of the newly introduced features. What are your thoughts about the latest update?
