Since Microsoft released the Surface Pro back in February of 2013, many users have been frustrated at the stylus that comes with the device, especially when using Photoshop. While Microsoft has yet to release an official firmware update, you are now able to snag the updated Wacom driver that offers you the pressure sensitivity you have been itching for.

“The driver supports advanced features such as pressure-sensitivity in graphics applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. It also allows you to adjust the pen tip pressure sensitivity and to program the side switch of the pen for a wide range of alternative settings and functions,” Wacom stated on their website.

Surface Pro owners who have snagged this driver, dated May 9th, have posted their feedback on Microsoft’s official support forum rejoicing about how they are now able to use Adobe Photoshop as well as Corel Painter! The driver enables the ability to adjust the pen tip pressure sensitivity and to program the side switch of the stylus for a wide range of alternative settings and functions.

Microsoft will most likely bundle this driver update in an upcoming firmware update. However, if you want this updated driver now, hit the download link below to snag it. This driver still contains bugs, but offers the functionality that Surface Pro owners have been itching for.
