Amazon’s cloud gaming service Luna has launched for Samsung Gaming Hub. You may recall that we covered the launch of Samsung Gaming Hub back in late June.

Powered by Linux-based Tizen OS, Samsung Gaming Hub released for 2022 Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Monitor Series as a convenient one-stop-shop for gamers on those devices to access their favorite game streaming services. The hub included Xbox Cloud Gaming, Google Stadia, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and Utomik.

Amazon Luna now joins that broad partnership. Samsung Director of Product Management for Gaming Mike Lucero said in a statement,

With Amazon Luna joining Samsung Gaming Hub, we are offering more choices than ever for players to jump into the games they love and to discover new ones. The Samsung Gaming Hub is an all-in-one destination for gaming and entertainment. With the addition of Amazon Luna, we now offer over 1000 games to play instantaneously on Samsung Smart TVs, making Samsung Gaming Hub the number one destination to stream games.

Amazon Luna is Amazon’s game streaming service. It features a range of subscription-based channels such as Luna+, the Retro Channel, and the Prime Gaming channel which features a rotating selection of games that Prime members can play for free. Unsurprisingly (given that Amazon owns Twitch) Luna allows gamers to stream directly to Twitch if they wish to do so. Amazon Luna is currently only available in the US.
