This week sees the release of the first of the “summer blockbusters”, in the form of the The Amazing Spiderman 2, which hits theaters May 2nd. Just in time for the movie, Microsoft has announced availability of the coinciding game for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.
Larry Hryb, AKA Major Nelson, announces “The Amazing Spider-Man 2 takes place outside the events of the 2nd film in a unique story where Spider-Man discovers a larger threat to NYC that has turned the underworld upside down. Villains from the film and classic Marvel characters are woven together in a twisted web of adrenaline-fueled, web-slinging action that puts players on a collision course with an evil far beyond Spider-Man’s reckoning”.
This is not a tiny download, at 9.89 GB, nor is it especially cheap at $59.99. But neither the size nor the price are out of line with other premium games on the platform.
