For those of you who find a 15-inch laptop too bulky, and can’t consider a 13-inch laptop either, Sony has made available its new 11-inch laptop, Vaio Flip 11A in the US for $799. The laptop is part of Vaio’s Flip line of laptops, which the Japanese giant announced at CES last month.
Although the device is small, it hasn’t made any compromises with its specs. It looks quite similar to Lenovo’s Yoga, and has hinges that makes it easy to switch to the tablet mode. Weighing about 2.82 pounds, the device also comes with the N-trig digitizer which supports pressure-sensitive pen input.
The device boasts of a 11.6-inch full HD IPS touch display, which is powered by an Intel Pentium N3520 CPU clocked at 2.16 GHz. It has 4 gigs of RAM and sports a 128 GB SSD. At the connectivity end, it supports USB 3.0 and NFC, and has an HDMI output as well. The one which is being sold here is powered by Intel quad-core Bay-Trail processor and runs Windows 8.1 and ships with a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12.
