Skype app for Windows and Windows Phone 8 updated, increases reliability and performance

In an official Skype blog post, Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Skype app for Windows, as well as the Skype app for Windows Phone 8. The update for Windows is a minor update, while the update to the Windows Phone app improves reliability and performance.

“Today we have released a minor update for Skype for Windows Phone 8, version 2.6. In this release we focused on further increasing the reliability of chat and call notifications, improving reliability of calls to phone numbers and resolving occasional missing message preview in the recent conversations list,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

Skype 2.6 for Windows Phone 8 increases chat reliability, increases call notification reliability, and improves call reliability to phone numbers. The update also fixes the occasional missing message preview in the recent conversation list. You can snag this download at the link below.

The update to Skype for Windows app simply addresses quality and stability of the application. Skype 6.3 for Windows can be downloaded from the download link below.
