SharePoint home sites are now generally available

Microsoft announced the SharePoint home sites at its annual SharePoint Conference last year, aiming to enable organizations to develop their own landing pages with just a few clicks. The SharePoint home sites are now generally available globally, and the announcement comes at a time when effective communication is needed more than ever for the remote workforce.

SharePoint Home Sites are basically integrated with the mega-menu in SharePoint intranet portals. Employees working in an organization can use these landing pages to comment and share videos, articles, news, and events directly from their desktop or by using the SharePoint mobile app. SharePoint Home Sites are responsive and are connected to the enhanced SharePoint Start Page. Moreover, they come with a bunch of features including document views, activity insights across sites, improved navigation, and saved content.
