SBI Quick is the latest app from the State Bank of India for Windows Phone

Windows Phone hasn’t enjoyed success in many countries, but one successful country for Microsoft’s mobile OS is India. Not only has Windows Phone been well received, but lots of apps have been developed for Indian business. The latest example of this comes from the State Bank of India who has just released an app called SBI Quick.

The app enables SBI customers to perform a number of tasks such as: balance enquiry, mini statement, blocking of ATM card, car and home loan enquiry. Users are required to connect their mobile number which has been associated with their account, and if they need to change which mobile number is associated to their account they’ll need to visit their local branch.

SBI has listed a number of FAQs on the app page laying out the details of the apps capabilities and limitations. The app does rely upon SMS and automated phone calls to perform a number of different actions. The app does seem to be a great asset for any customer of SBI and it is nice to see more Indian companies supporting Windows Phone.
