Lumia 830

Microsoft’s affordable flagship device is hitting Rogers in Canada on October 8th, making it the first carrier in the region to offer the handset. But, it’s not the only one, Bell is reportedly planning to launch the handset in Canada as well, with a launch pegged for October 15th.

Bell is yet to officially announce the availability of the handset, but the folks at WPCentral mentioned that they have seen the relevant references to confirm the legitimacy of the news.

As a gentle recap, the Lumia 830 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 10MP PureView camera with optical image stabilization, 0.9MP front-facing camera, a 2,200 mAh battery and Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.

There’s no word about the pricing details, nor any official confirmation, but we’ll update you as soon as it’s announced.
