Resident Evil HD offers a redux of survival horror on Xbox 360, Xbox One

Originally released on the Sony Playstation in 1996, Resident Evil marked the introduction of the survival horror genre in video games. Now, Resident Evil HD is available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Resident Evil HD is an updated version of the original Resident Evil, which follows a team of soldiers that are sent to investigate strange murders that occur around Raccoon City in 1998.

Upon their arrival, the team is attacked by a pack of wild dogs and is forced to hide in a mansion; this mysterious mansion is where the survival horror of Resident Evil begins. Capcom remastered Resident Evil HD to provide you with a full 1080p experience on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Play as either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine as you fight your way through the mansion to uncover the details of what went horribly wrong in “t-Virus” experiments made at the by the secretive Umbrella Corporation. Resident Evil HD has updated visuals and graphics, but the game story remains the same and it is still a timeless classic.

Resident Evil HD is available for download today on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 for $19.99.
