Project Spark Beta makes its way to Xbox One -- sign up now!

There’s a lot of excitement about Project Spark, the Microsoft project that makes it possible for just about anyone to try their hand at creating a video game. Today Microsoft extended the beta program to include Xbox One meaning that even more people will be able to gain access to the tools on offer.

Project Spark has already prove immensely popular, with over a quarter of a million people signing up to try out the Windows 8.1 beta version. Participants are invited to use an innovative collection of tools to help create unique games more easily than ever before, and the results are being enthusiastically greeted by keen gamers.

If you don’t fancy the idea of creating something completely from scratch, there is always the option of jumping on someone else’s project and modifying their work — Project Spark is all about innovation and collaboration. The introduction of an Xbox One option makes this an exciting and unique game creation platform. Projects can be accessed from both Windows 81 and Xbox One depending on how the mood takes you.

If you like the idea of creating something of your own ready to share with the gaming community, head on over to the Project Spark beta sign up page and get involved!
