Popular eBook reader, Kobo Books now available on Windows Phone Store

Three months after relaunching on Windows Store, the popular eBook reader, Kobo Books, has finally made its way on to Windows Phone. Interestingly, the app that you will find at the Store is a Universal Windows application.

“With Kobo, you can read on your Windows device anywhere, anytime. Download the Kobo app and browse from over 4 million free and affordable eBooks, comics and children’s books,” its app description reads.

The app syncs your progress across devices, meaning, you can start reading something on one device and pick up another device and continue from where you left. There is ‘Night Mode’ as well for your reading pleasure.

Kobo also runs a store from where you can access over 4 million popular titles. The app lets you preview the first chapter of thousands of books. It also supports Live Tiles.

Fun fact: Did you realize that Kobo is an anagram of book? Hit the download link below to snag the app. It’s free!
