It’s no surprise that there aren’t very many big name apps in the Windows Phone Store. As such, when one goes missing, its absence is felt sorely.
Opera Mini is one such example, currently the app displays as “This app is no longer published” on the Windows Phone Store. New users are currently unable to download the app from the store as a consequence.
Thankfully, there is nothing to fear. Opera quickly took to Twitter to reassure users, saying,
As some of you have noticed, #OperaMini is currently not on the #WindowsPhone store. We’re working to get it back to you soon 🙂

When pressed on a cause, it went on to state,
@seancameron28 Definitely not permanent. It was due to an error in the Windows store. We are working very hard to get it back /Angela

This isn’t the first time that Opera has gone missing from the Windows Phone Store, having previously vanished earlier in the year while still in beta form, before reappearing later. In this case however, it appears that an error in the Windows Phone Store was to blame.
