OneNote app

Microsoft has rolled out an update to the OneNote app for Windows 8 and Windows RT. This new update was released on Friday and features several bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as some addition support for touch drawing.

The OneNote app is a great app that allows you to create quick notes via keyboard or even touch! “Take notes that save to the cloud so you have them when you need them. Fast and immersive, OneNote has been reimagined for Windows 8. Whether you draw, type, click, or swipe, this app will shine on your Windows 8 device. On the go? Use a browser or one of the many OneNote mobile apps to get to your notes when you need them,” the app description reads.

So what’s new in this update? According to the release notes on the Windows Store, this update features an update to the pen menu, allowing you to set favorite pens, change pen color and thickness. The update also offers support for roaming list of recent notebooks, and support for drawing with touch. You can sign in with your Office 365 and see all the notebooks you’ve used recently. Microsoft has fixed the issue with keyboard closing along with various other bug fixes. We aren’t sure if this change log was updated to reflect the most recent update or if it is describing the previous update.

Regardless, there is an update to the OneNote app. Head over to the Windows Store and update your app and let us know in the comments below if you notice any improvements or changes.
