OneDrive Music Locker in the works, steams to Xbox Music on all your devices

Microsoft seems to be working on making the cloud music experience just a tad bit better. The folks over at LiveSino have discovered references to what’s called “OneDrive Music Locker” and it allows you to upload music files into a Music folder on your OneDrive account, enabling you to listen to your media through Xbox Music on any device.

“Meet your OneDrive Music folder. Upload your music files to this folder, so that you can play them via Xbox Music from any of your devices. You can also add files to this folder using the OneDrive app for your computer. To get the full Xbox Music experience, move your music files into the Music folder on your OneDrive.”

By integrating the Xbox Music service with the OneDrive cloud storage service, Microsoft is enabling a better music experience. With this capability, you can listen to your music on any device, anywhere, as long as you have the Xbox Music app. Microsoft has yet to official announce this feature and details of this feature have yet to be unveiled. We will keep you posted as we learn more.

Thanks for sending this in, Alan!
