Office 365 Midsize Business and Education plans gain Yammer Enterprise

Yammer is a valuable tool for teams looking to collaborate on projects and keep in touch with each other. Microsoft has announced that it will be made available on Office 365 Midsize Business and Education plans as standard. Since acquiring Yammer, Microsoft has taken steps to make Yammer available to as wide a userbase as possible, and this is just another step on that road.

Microsoft’s General Manager of Enterprise Social, Jared Spataro said: “This simple licensing change significantly reduces the friction in cross-organization collaboration and will enable your users to work with customers, partners, and parents and students without having to worry about additional costs.”

The announcement will come as great news for businesses looking to try to reduces monthly costs, as well as by schools working with limited budgets.

“We’re excited about what Yammer can do for these organizations. Midsized companies are always looking for ways to increase revenue, and schools are under increasing pressure to do more with less. Yammer and Office 365 can help your business or school work like a network and achieve your goals,” said Spataro.
